Adult Swim Programs

Adult Swim Instruction- Whether you are a beginner swimmer or are looking to improve your stroke technique, swimming is a great skill for health, fitness, safety, and recreation! We offer instruction to all levels. If you are a beginner looking to learn basic techniques and increase your safety and comfort in the water, or looking to improve your stroke form, endurance, and skills-we have a class to meet your interests.

Masters Swimming

Masters/Weekly Workout Program – This group is intended for intermediate swimmers for the purpose of training, fitness and enjoyment of swimming. This program will focus on improving the swimmer’s form, endurance and speed for fitness, pool competition, open water swimming or triathlon. Organized workouts and oversight will be provided.

Private Lessons

Learn to swim or work on your strokes on a one-to-one basis.  Please call the YMCA for specific details and arrange for class times. (231)775-3369. Ask for the Aquatics Director, Mary Crisenbery.
