Scott brings a whole lot of heart and just a little hesitation to this year’s Dancing with the Y-Stars. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he swears his only dance experience comes from learning the two-step on a concrete floor somewhere overseas. But when it’s for a good cause, he’s willing to risk life, limb, and mild embarrassment.

By day, Scott manages the McBain Branch of Horizon Bank. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Leadership, an MBA in Healthcare Administration, and somehow still finds time to serve on the board of Project Canefire, most recently traveling to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip. At home, he’s dad to five, grandpa to three, and caretaker of a chaotic crew that includes dogs, cats, chickens and pigs who all have zero interest in his dance rehearsals.

Fresh off the Cadillac Leadership Program, a wild, inspiring ride, Scott figured the only logical next step was…choreographed footwork in front of the entire community. He’s proud to support the YMCA and its youth programs, even if it means proving that rhythm is not part of his résumé. Let the dad dancing begin.
